Eurovision ACADEMY salutes first Executive Programme graduates
30 October 2014Graduates of the 2014 Eurovision ACADEMY Executive Programme at the IESE Campus in New York.
The first batch of top public service media (PSM) managers to sign up for the inaugural Executive Programme developed by the EBU’s corporate training division Eurovision ACADEMY has graduated.
15 executives across the EBU community completed the course, which was delivered in partnership with two of the world's top business schools, IESE in Barcelona and New York, and UCLA Anderson in Los Angeles

Head of Eurovision ACADEMY Nathalie Labourdette congratulated the participants for their enthusiasm and dedication.
“Public media are under increasing pressure to service their audiences with outstanding content on increasingly tighter budgets,” said Ms Labourdette. “I can only praise these managers for the commitment they have demonstrated to building innovative and healthy public media organizations that will meet the needs of today’s media consumers."
UCLA professor Phillip Leslie says the course, which launches in May, is abreast of the rapidly evolving media landscape.
“While digital has long been critical to media, it is now driving a rapid and profound diversification of the ways in which content is both created and consumed,” Prof. Leslie said. “The role of companies like YouTube is evolving fast; but the pace of change is increasing and organizations cannot assume that what works today will work tomorrow. Companies must get ahead of the changes, which present both challenges and opportunities.“
