General Assembly

The General Assembly is the supreme governing body of the EBU and possesses all powers necessary for accomplishing the Union’s objectives including the definition of the organization’s strategy and approval of its finances.

The Assembly meets twice a year: the summer session is open for all Members and Associates and is hosted by a Member organization; the winter session is limited to Members and is held in Geneva.

The 94th General Assembly will take place in London on 3 and 4 July 2025, hosted by the BBC.

We welcome delegates to the first ever online edition of the General Assembly. The invitation to eligible participants was sent on 2 September. Approved participants will receive a unique non-transferable link to access the event 24 hours before.

This unique assembly replaces the summer event originally scheduled in June.
