The Plenary is the opportunity for the EBU International Relations community to gather to exchange best practices, update on EBU initiatives and discuss the impact of current challenges on our work. This meeting plays a key role in strengthening collaboration between public service organizations and ensuring the flow of information between Members and the EBU.
The 2024 edition took place on the fringe of the EBU Media Summit, at the EBU Headquarters on 23 April. In 2023, we decided to open the meeting to all International Relations Managers, not only from Radio but also from TV, Corporate and Institutional Relations. This year we aim to continue expanding the IR community and further consolidate the meeting format.
The agenda followed the main theme of the Media Summit "Creating Memorable Stories", with a twist. Yes, because great stories are sometimes around us, born from simple initiatives aimed at bringing people together, and growing stronger through collaboration and mutual support.
